Week 5 Term 2 - 2022
Dear Families
A terrific week this week with lots of moving forward in the growth of our school at the Evans Head site.
- On Tuesday and Wednesday, we had new carpet squares laid in the demountable classrooms and the final touches before the BIG move.
- On Wednesday we had Photo day, Turf day (we could finally got to go on to the grass to play) and moving day. THE CHILDREN WERE SO EXCITED.
- Thursday it was Sorry Day with Kindergarten and Mrs Barnes leading us in a beautiful liturgy, and
- Today Friday- is PIE DAY FRIDAY- always a day of pure joy!
It's also been nice to have a few parents coming in to look in the new classrooms with their child/children.
Thank you for your patience and support as we continue to evolve.

SUNDAY GOSPEL REFLECTION:
Year C - The Ascension of the Lord
Gospel Reading: Luke 24:46-53
Jesus is taken to heaven and the disciples remain in Jerusalem awaiting his sending of the Spirit.
In this Sunday's Gospel, we hear the instructions that Jesus gave to his disciples before he was taken up to heaven. He told them that they would receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. On hearing this news they worshipped him and returned back to Jerusalem full of joy.
