Week 5 Term 3 - 2022
Dear Families
We have had a wonderful week, with the Apple experts visiting to teach us new iPad skills; continued Kindergarten enrolment meetings, and finally for the first time in 3 years getting our Stage 2 to their Coffs Harbour Excursion. We are feeling truly blessed! One of the standouts for me was seeing so many of our families back in the school last Wednesday morning to see the children off to the Excursion. Something we have truly missed over the last couple of years.

We are so excited to welcome our Kindergarten 2023 students to our beautiful school community.
STAGE 2 COFFS HARBOUR EXCURSION
From all reports, the Stage 2 children have had an absolutely amazing time on their excursion at Coffs Harbour over the last few days. We look forward to them returning this afternoon and to hearing all their stories about the fun, learning, and successes they have had.
We are extremely grateful to the Sisters of Mercy from Grafton for their financial support for the flood-affected families.
A big thank you to their teachers Mrs Cronan, Mrs Reese, Miss Baker and Mrs George for their amazing efforts in organising the camp, their tenacity to gain financial support, and for their all-day and night care of the children while they were away.

TELL THEM FROM ME SURVEY
In the coming weeks, we will be inviting students, teachers, and parents to provide feedback on their experience of our school using an online survey. The surveys are an important part of our whole school evaluation and planning process.
We would like to invite you to complete the Tell Them From Me (TTFM) Partners in Learning survey. As we value the role of parents and carers within our school community we would greatly appreciate your feedback. The information you provide will be used to maintain our commitment to working together in partnership to further improve student learning and wellbeing at St Joseph’s Woodburn.
The survey is anonymous and will take approximately 20 minutes to complete. You are able to access the parent survey on your computer or mobile device by using the URL below:
